Cryostat Model 101 Matterhorn

Large, cylindrical, wet, dilution-refrigerator cryostat

Features:

  • Compatible with Janis or Leiden DR insert
  • Convenient access to experimental area with easily removable vacuum jacket and shielding
  • Optimized for versatility and flexibility with nine 3.75 in2 (24 cm2) feed-through ports
  • Robust, all-welded SST construction with copper bi-metal cryogen vessels

Specifications:

  • Huge experimental area: ~500 in3 (~8000 cm3)
  • Cool down from 300 K to 4 K in 24 hours
  • Stage temperatures of 77 K, 4 K, 1.2 K, 0.6 K, 0.1 K, 0.03 K
  • 100 mW cooling @ 100 mK
