			DESCRIPTION HPD has performed extensive testing of many readily available lamps, from inexpensive "generic" lamps to high end "store display" lamps. While many manufactures tout the benefits of using their lamps over their competition (from "softer" lighting, to different wavelengths, to bulb life), there is no "one best bulb" for every application. In fact, HPD has determined that inexpensive "generic" bulbs provide the best lighting approximation to sunlight of any of the bulbs we have tested, and are the preferred bulbs for use in your Model 126 Heliodon. While the life of these bulbs may be lower than more expensive models, the much lower price balances out (and may even make up for) their shorter life. While you may be able to locate proper bulbs at your local store, HPD recommends you purchase Economy Grade EXZ-AH (or EXZ-AH-PRO) replacement bulbs from USA Light and Electric, as these will match the bulbs provided with your Model 126 Heliodon at the time of purchase.
